We set out for the long drive to 1770 just before covid19 restrictions were in place (fewf!) with self-help podcasts on queue and mapped out pitstops for half decent coffee along the way. After what felt like a lifetime (but was only 6 hours), we met with the builder – Damien – and it was instantly apparent why this family fell in love with the site. The long beachfront views, sense of isolation (in a good way), beautiful flora and incredible, sculptural bloodwood trees made it all the more exciting to get diagramming & put pen to paper.  This is the second house we’ve had the pleasure of designing for this family – check out some of the drawings from first sketch to the current design development that has occurred over the year.
